  1. I love your reaction on the price people try to flip these for. I just saw a hana v3 1:1 CLONE! on ebay for $799.99... I had the same reaction... no fucking way the real one is even worth 800 dollars

  2. Thanks for the review (and the previous one on the Valkyrie Mini, which should arrive at my door).

My question about the Variant...is there mod insurance available?

  3. So, I'm still sort of fuzzy on why the price is so astronomically high, there are several other devices on the market that, as far as I understand, posess the same feature set, selling for or half the price or less. thanks for another fantastic review. sincerely an enthusiastic fan, David

  5. Is anybody else besides me seeing the similarity between the Iphone 4 and the VariAnt? LOL It looks JUST like a big fat iphone with a 510 connection instead of a headphone jack XD.

~Same price too :P, I guess they figured millions have bought something like the Iphone, not *precisely* worth the money, but so pretty it might be. It is beautiful I'll give them that, but for that much it should be better than the littleman, IE go lower than .2ohms. I'm not sure about the looks myself, I can appreciate the whole package though.

  6. Thought the same thing about price, but then thought to myself, "let's be real here"... Does price really matter... if no one can get 'em?? Nope, not really. L/E=200? Pfft. I am, however, glad to see someone actually HAVE one & see it "live" so to speak.. & am also glad, esp. considering its price & limited availability.. to see it's you that has one! ... well deserved, so ENJOY! :) LIVE LONG -er... & VAPE ON! :)

  7. You think £600 is a lot, there is one on ebay right now from a well known UK shop for £970 :O

  8. The charger he supplied is very low end, about ~$7-$8 at HobbyKing and eBay. And why isn't the charging plug accessible on the outside of the case, so the LiPo pack doesn't have to be removed? The drain problem is consistent when an enable/inhibit pin used with the fire button. With the battery connected it's in a standby/ready mode, not truly off. The amount of current used is usually quite small, often listed as quiescent current.
