  2. The reason for the massive throat hit on this RDA is the insufficient amount of airflow per coil. With this layout you truly only have one area that you can build coils and get good airflow and that's the space that has the air-hole at the bottom. There aren't any other air holes near the other two coil areas. If you twist the cap to allow the triangle air flow at one of the other spaces it cuts off the lower "flavor control" for the first space. Huge design flaw.

  3. you should make a review on their mod too.. The Maraxus, it looks really good with the Lotus

  4. Thae Lotus would look AWESOME on the Maraxus Mod... and I agree Todd, if you went with Micro coils and one continuous piece of wick run through all three coils while wrapping the coil around each post so your juice would be in constant contact with the wick, in theory it should be an INCREDIBLE vape!!!

  5. First of all, thanks Todd for all of the great videos. I received an MCV Panzer (which I'd love to see a video for) and the Lotus RDA for Christmas. What a fantastic set up!! And it looks like a Celtic battle hammer. I'm using 3 micro coils and cotton at 0.37 ohms (don't worry, I've got a Sony 30amp battery). Monster vape and I agree that the flavor control hole provides the best possible flavor for an RDA. I put two of the coils one on either side of the flavor hole and one directly behind the center post. Works grreat. Happy New Year!!

  6. the ledge on the bottom of the rda you refer to is because it's made to go on the maraxus to make it look flush

  7. Noob question here, so basically 3x1ohm coils still comes out as 1ohm ish on the meter? I was aiming to use three 1.3-5ohm made from 28g twisted coils, I've got strong batteries but hoping that this would come out the same?

  8. nope, if you use 3 x 1ohm coils you'll end up with 0.33ohms

IF you are looking for 1ohm, you need to build 3 x 3ohm coils.
