  1. great video todd, but that erm... phantom transition you did after filling the tank kinda freaked me out, I thought my laptop was pulling a prank on me.

    1. Freaked me out as well but the 3hrs it takes to edit it again and process it and upload, to lazy to sort it LOL

  2. I had the same idea in my mind of combining the Kayfun with a Roller, but the difference in finishes kinda put me off. Which type of finish do you have on your Roller? The IM finish (Ice Matte I believe) of the Roller should resemble the alpha finish of the Kayfun.

    1. My finish on the Dingo was a test finish, pretty much a one off but I've buffed the Kayfun up a bit and reducing the severity! of the finish so starting to match the Dingo more :)

    2. How does it compare to a Penelope? Pen is the only "serious" atomizer I've tried and I am yet to find something that can even compare to it. I've ordered some larger mods on which a 22mm atty would fit and I am considering buying an IM Roller, so the Kayfun should be perfect! I believe the IM version would be a close match to the Kayfun alpha finish

    3. My "opinion" it's better than the iAtty which was the best GG atty for me.

      But that's just me ;)

    4. Your opinion is as worthy as one considers it to be. I've watched a lot of your videos and your opinions on almost all products match mine so I wouldn't be surprised if I became a Kayfun fanboy as well. One of them (Pen or the Kaya) is going to the classifieds anyway, so I won't be at a loss even on the odd chance of Kayfun not agreeing with me. Thanks for the great review Todd and vape on!

    5. Todd, I've seen several reviews on the Kayfun and I think I might have to get this one :)

I don't have a Silica based device right now since I'm a genny user, however, I do want 1 good Silica device to round out my vaping equipment. The only "gripe" I have is the filling mechanism. I hope it lasts and doesn't deteriorate over time.

    1. If you don't mind the silica setup Willie then I would recommend it.

Just mind you are not going to get as warm a vape as you would with a genisis.

      All the best mate

  7. Couple of questions a)can the clear bit go right at the bottom so you can see how much juice you have left and b)do your nails hurt? I used to bite mine(still do when stressed) and they stung like hell if I went too short but I never got anywhere as low as yours! Not having a go been curious for ages if they are as sore as they look!!!

  8. No, clear section doesn't go on bottom i'm afraid but you van buy a totally clear tankfor the whole thing.

The nails, yeah hurts, one of the joys of depression lol

    1. Bless you, yep know too well about that bastard and bad habits that can go with it. Lets just say I used other methods to cause pain.

Hmm not sure how it would look all clear, not that it matters anyhow, way out of my price range!

  10. Hi Todd !
    Great review as always.
I just traded my TI-Bliss for a Kayfun V3.1 based on it ;p
But im wondering. Have you tried different sizes of kanthal on it ?
What size did you use in your setup ? I only have A-1 28 awg laying around..
And im hoping that 28. will do with a silica wick ?

    Best Regards

    1. Andreas, I think the 28 AWG Kanthal will be too low of a resistance on the Kayfun. I've used 28 AWG on a penelope and the end result wasn't that good.

I think 32 AWG is the "safest" bet.

  11. Right now I've only used my usual .2 Kanthal Andreas.

Sorry I can't tell you any more than that mate

  14. I've got a kayfun but, having limited success. It always taste dry not burnt just dry. Perhaps thats just silica but, i dont remember that on my penelope. Any insight? The setup im using right now is .9 ohm with a folded 3mm wick vaping 100% vg boba's bounty.

    1. Wow, that may be asking to much of it mate, 100% VG at .9, not keeping up I would guess.

All I could suggest is upping the resistance a bit and making sure the wicks aren't blocking the channels.

Sorry can't advise any more than that.
