  2. Looks like good stuff. I've got a IGO-L on it's way to me and this might be good in there. I'm guessing you could make a longer coil in a dripper atty, might be good :-)

  3. Looks like some good wire! Would love to try it, but I doubt I could make enough wraps to hit 1.8Ω with it inside this tiny vision eternity atty haha!

  6. am I the only one thinking that by using this stuff you would have to trade off over draw length?

because of the increased surface area the juice will be vaporised quicker than it would with normal round wire, and this introduces a possibility that the wicking process can't keep up with demand by the coil?

or am I just over thinking things?

    1. Was thinking the same, you would need to be very sure of the wicking quality of your wick or cut back on the chain vaping lol

    2. Wonder in the Ebay seller is noticing a increase in sales! When I ordered mine it said they'd sold 150 odd, now it's at 194, I bet they don't normally sell nearly 50 in a day! lol

How do you think this would work with silica wick?

    3. Would imagine it'll work fine Dave, going to try some in the Kayfun later on :)

  7. Ive tried the 0.5 & 0.6 now, definitely dont need so many wraps on the 0.5, 4 wraps is at 1.3ohm, but I usually vape between 1.1 and 1.5ohm

  9. Hi Todd, you should give lower res a try. I know taste is subjective, etc., but I usually go with 4 wraps on a 2ml wick, which comes out at 0.8ohm and it's great. Obviously I have to stick with mechanical mods and theoretically the battery drains faster, but the coil heats up much faster, so you tend to take shorter drags, which compensates to a large extent for the faster drain. I still get a good day out of an Aw IMR 18650 2000mah. I can't go back to higher res coils now, I find them tedious, because they take too long to heat up.

  11. Todd you can get the wire in the UK from www.themeshcompany.com they only carry 1 type though well at the moment and that is 0.5 X 0.1 mm. slightly higher resistance to the stuff you were using.
If this info has already been post sorreeeeeeee
